Delete Account & Data
Users of the DevXQueries Flashcards app can request deletion of their account and associated data at any time.
🧾 How to Request Account Deletion
To delete your account and associated data, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to devxqueries@gmail.com
- Use the subject line: “Delete My DevXQueries Account”
- In the email body, include:
- The email address used to sign in to the app
- (Optional) Reason for deletion
Once the request is received, we will verify the account and process the deletion.
🗑️ What Data Is Deleted
When an account deletion request is processed, the following data will be permanently deleted:
- User authentication account (Firebase Authentication)
- App usage data associated with the account
📦 Data That May Be Retained Temporarily
Some data may be retained for a limited period where required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Anonymous analytics data (non-identifiable)
- Crash and performance logs (aggregated and anonymized)
Such data, if retained, is not linked to the user’s identity and is automatically deleted according to Google Firebase retention policies.
⏱️ Deletion Timeframe
- Account and associated personal data are deleted within 30 days of receiving a valid request.
